Happy Monday! Today, I want to share how I plan to use one of the three planners I purchased for 2024: the Laurel Denise planner. This planner has a unique page layout that will be so helpful for my blog content planning. Here's my Laurel Denise Planner review.
First off, the planner came in a beautiful box, and wrapped nicely in bubble wrap and tissue paper. I'm always appreciative when companies take care in packaging their products.
The box reminds me of vintage wallpaper. It's sturdy enough to keep your planner in when you're done for the year, or to use to store stickers or stencils. While the box is nice, the planner is the most important part right? The planner itself comes in many colors, as well as Sunday Start or Monday Start. I chose Sunday Start in Evergreen. It's a beautiful deep emerald shade.
If you can't tell from the picture, the Laurel Denise planner is quite large. I don't mind too much, since this one will mostly live on my desk and will rarely leave my house. If you like to travel with your planner though, you might consider the size. The twin-loop coil is gold and matches the foiling on the cover. Overall, the cover feels sturdy and will last all year long. The inside includes two huge pockets on the front and back covers. They are strong and will hold full sheets of paper.
Inside the Laurel Denise Planner
The special part of the Laurel Denise planner is that the monthly calendar is always visible. The weekly pages have three sections; one on the left and two on the right. I'm using the calendar to get an overview of my blog content every month, and using the three sections to organize when I'll write blog posts, share them on social media, and how I'll manage my Amazon store. There's also an amazing blank page you can use for anything you want. I got a bit creative with mine, and divided it up into four categories. Here's my example:
As you can see, the Laurel Denise planner is extremely flexible. I've seen so many wonderful ideas on Facebook and YouTube on how to utilize the different sections. There's also many accessories you can purchase. I bought the "Swirling Thoughts" dashboard to have a place to jot down ideas as they come to me. Laurel Denise also sells stickers and pouches on her website.
Price of the Laurel Denise Planner
This planner retails for $59. It is a little pricey, but it is a unique design and well-made. I think the price is appropriate for the product. The paper holds ink really well, and nothing I've used has smudged. It's also thick, and I haven't had any ghosting or bleed-through. I'm so excited to use the Laurel Denise planner in 2024. What do you think of this planner? Would you purchase it? Let me know in the comments. Happy Planning!
